Rev. Mr. James Stewart of Killin translated the New Testament into Gaelic. (An improved version was completed by Dr John Stewart, his son, minister of Luss in 1801)
“Fifty years ago ( about 1888) the Gaelic Society of Perth, acting on a suggestion made by Mr Charles Stewart of Tigh an Duin, Killin, erected a monument (to James Stewart)in front of the church which had been built during the early years of his remarkable ministry.” His grave is “unmarked and unknown”

A reference is made to the “Gaelic Kingdom in Scotland” by Charles Stewart, Killin (1880)
This is in regard to the derivation of the name Inchadney.
